Galaxy Sport Betting
In many ways, Galaxy is a jack-of-all-trades platform instead of being a master of one. While it’s not an industry leader in many departments — aside from its cryptocurrency support — it does a lot of things well, and taken together, is a solid betting site choice.

PreviousNextIf you need assistance quickly, your best bet is the Galaxy sports sportsbook live chat. It can easily be accessed by clicking the green chat icon on the bottom-right corner of the screen. Once the chat pops up, choose between the different help inquiries — Bitcoin, casino, customer care, and wagering — so you can be connected with the appropriate agent. The live chat is open around-the-clock and we noticed high response times, even outside normal business hours.

Options Galore
Ways to fund your playing account are far from limited on Galaxy. Cryptocurrency is a site favorite as the platform accepts well over 75 digital currencies. Players can also use prepaid/credit cards or peer-to-peer options like MG or Ria.
Bitcoin: King of Crypto
While options on Galaxy were short when it comes to card acceptance, they most certainly are not with cryptocurrency. By our count, there’s well over 75 cryptos that are supported on the platform — and more are seemingly added every month. That support stretches from well-known cryptos (e.g. Bitcoin or Bitcoin Cash) to lesser-known ones (e.g. Golem or iExec). Galaxy’s commitment to cryptocurrency is among the best in the marketplace.
Credit Cards: Limited Options
In what’s become the industry norm, the only two card providers allowed on Galaxy are VISA and Mastercard. We would love to see more options such as American Express or Chase, but this issue isn’t only unique to Galaxy.
New players at Galaxy are eligible for up to $1,600 in free play to be used at both the sportsbook and casino — no need to choose one or the other. First-time deposits are matched at 15 percent in the sportsbook (max bonus being $600) and 50 percent at the casino (payout capped at $1000). The 2-for-1 bonus structure is unique since most competitors have separate deals for its sport and casino companion.
Placing a Bet
Time To Win Big
You shouldn’t have much, if any, issues with the Galaxy sports sportsbook user experience. The sportsbook is organized by sport, league, bet type (e.g. futures, props) so narrowing down your options is easy. Clicking on any listed odd will automatically add it to your betting slip.
It’ll be on the betting slip where you can add how much you want to risk. Additionally, you can choose to accept future betting line changes or keep them in-tact. Once both are set, you can finalize the wager by hitting the “place bet” button.

PreviousNextGalaxy sports sportsbook really brings it when it comes to US Presidential election betting. Sure, you’ll get the usual lines for which candidate will win, but you’ll also find a bevy of prop bets to go alongside it at Galaxy. Props include who will be Vice President running mates, who will win each state’s electoral college, etc.
eSports
eSoccer Dominates
The eSports coverage on Galaxy Sports sportsbook leans heavy on eSoccer — and heavy might be an understatement. There’s a good ten eSoccer leagues that you’ll find betting lines for on Galaxy. These leagues cover everything from the English Premier League to Liga MX. Though, there are other eSports on Galaxy including Dota 2, Overwatch, and a few others. However, wagering selection is easily trumped by the eSoccer offerings.
The “sports sims” section inside the sportsbook will have all available wagers. Not to be confused with eSports, these games are simulated by the computer with no human element to it. The game titles carried are entirely sports so think Madden, MLB The Show, and like-minded video games.
NBA
Year-Round Betting
Technically, the NBA playing calendar only runs from October to June. However, in recent years, the NBA free agency and draft period has become a large-scale event in itself, creating attention for the league year-round. Whether it’s a game or a draft pick, NBA wagers are readily available on Galaxy.
If there’s an ATP or WTA tournament happening somewhere in the world, there will be odds available in the Galaxy sports sportsbook. Of course, that includes the US Open and the accompanying Grand Slam tournaments like the Australian Open, French Open, and Wimbledon.
NFL
Full Breadth Of Options
As America’s most-bet on sporting league, bettors demand variety when it comes to their NFL wagering. Galaxy hears that, evident by the litany of betting lines offered. Football fans will find everything they need here — pregame lines, in-play, futures, props, and so much more. Much of the same can be said about college football, which is well-supported by Galaxy, too.
If you’re looking for consistent betting action, you’ll find it with the MLB. The league plays almost daily between April and October, in other words, that’s six straight months of opportunity for bettors. The full gamut of MLB wagers are carried by Galaxy including run lines (reverse ones, too), run totals, props, futures, and everything in between.
More Betting Options
Check out the Galaxy Racebook
Aside from its regular sportsbook, Galaxy also has a full-on racebook. Not only will you find betting lines for American Triple Crown races — Kentucky Derby, Preakness Stakes, and Belmont Stakes — but also for more under-the-radar events around the world.
By and large, most online sportsbooks treat their casino companion as a sidekick. But that fact is really apparent on Galaxy. There’s no live casino. No dedicated poker room. A somewhat limited selection of games. All in all, the casino is pretty subpar. Sure, you’ll find popular table games (blackjack, craps, three-card poker, etc), slot machines, and even bingo, but the simulated games get dry pretty quick.
Live Betting
Galaxy Does Real-Time Betting Well
If you’re looking for in-play wagers, seek out the green Wi-Fi icon. Galaxy uses the icon to display which sports and games currently have live wagering available. Whereas other betting sites separate their live odds with pre-game lines, usually on a different page, Galaxy does not. All odds are listed together, but the Wi-Fi icon is the separator between the two. The demand for in-play betting continues to climb and we were impressed with Galaxy’s offering in this department.
Remember earlier when we explained how to place a straight bet? You’re going to follow the same exact formula for parlays — but of course, you’ll add multiple odds to your betting ticket instead of just one.
Galaxy gives you the opportunity to split up wagered money on your parlay. For example, on a two-leg parlay, you could conceivably bet $15 on one leg, then $5 on the second. That’s a welcome change than the usual one-risk-fits-all style of parlay betting.
Withdraw Winnings
Overlap With Deposit Options
The withdrawal methods at Galaxy are mostly the same as its deposit options with two notable caveats. For one, VISA and Mastercard can not be used for cashing out, only for funding your account. And second, Galaxy adds support for mailed check when withdrawing.
Bitcoin Withdrawals at Galaxy: King of Crypto (Again!)
Everything we previously said about using a crypto to deposit on Galaxy also applies to withdrawing. Again, the amount of cryptos supported is among the best the industry has to offer.
Galaxy has a help center to break down its guidelines, but bettors looking for wagering advice will have to look for it elsewhere. There’s currently no blog maintained by Galaxy.
Promotions
BetPoints Loyalty at Galaxy
Upon signing up to Galaxy, you’re immediately enrolled in its BetPoints rewards program. It’s a three-level system in which players can rank up through gold, platinum, and diamond tiers. As you’d expect, each tier has its own unique perks pertaining to cashback, reload bonuses, plus more. Points are earned on a 12-month basis and different types of wagers can net you more points (e.g. parlays are worth substantially more than a straight bet).
The amount of email communication from Galaxy was few and far between — certainly more infrequent than many competitors. For some players, that’s a positive, but for others, that might be a negative.
Live Streaming
Only On Video Games
Thus far, the only wagers that have live streaming capability on Galaxy are eSports and virtual sports. You’ll see a green tab titled “video” next to the odds to indicate streaming is available for it. Hit “view” under the “more” column to bring up the stream, which most of the time comes Twitch.
To come full circle, Galaxy does a lot of things good, but not necessarily great. Still, bettors far and wide won’t be disappointed with what the site has to offer:
- The full gamut of sports betting options
- A slew of bonuses and/or loyalty program perks
- Serious commitment to cryptocurrency as a deposit and withdrawal method

Find similar sitesFor sports betting, and all types of mobile gambling, the new Samsung Galaxy products may be the best lineup on the market. The Galaxy Note II and SIII are big (relative to other smartphones), and the Galaxy Tab is available in a variety of sizes. The combination of large screens, fast processors, 4G capability, and the S Pen (Note II and Tab), makes the Samsung products very tough to beat.
Best Samsung Galaxy Betting Sites
The Samsung Galaxy line of phones & tablets use the Android operating system. Below are our highest rated betting apps for these devices.
UK, Europe, Canada & More – NOT USA
We recommend the following bookmakers for punters living outside the United States. Click on any of the app links to get the Galaxy/Android app. Most of these sites accept all of the most popular currencies for deposits, and allow punters to bet with their preferred currency as well.
United States
The sportsbooks listed below are best for bettors who reside in the United States. Bovada offers an Android app, while JustBet offers an excellent mobile version of their website. Both of these sportsbooks accept Visa credit & debit cards for deposits.
Australia & New Zealand
The bookies listed below do the best job focusing on sports that punters from Australia and New Zealand are interested in. They offer a ton of AFL, Australia & New Zealand horse racing, local football & more. Punters can also use AUD or NZD currency for betting.
Best Galaxy Devices for Sports Betting
The devices listed below are the latest, best Samsung Galaxy devices for sports betting. Our ranking is based on sports betting purposes only, because we have no way of knowing the other uses each of our visitors have for their device. Adjust ranking based on your own needs.
Samsung Galaxy Note II
The new Samsung Galaxy Note II just might be the best device for sports betting – period. It’s larger than the latest iPhone, but small enough to call it a phone (meaning it’s easy to haul around). It comes with the S Pen, a precise stylus that makes it easy to push small buttons and check little boxes (like we find on betting slips). Although most sports betting apps are designed with large, easy to use buttons, we love the extra help that the S Pen gives us.
The Galaxy Note II is fast, with 4G capability, a quad-core processor, and ever-expanding amounts of memory. This makes it ideal for downloading multiple betting apps to compare odds. The 16:9 display ratio makes it a great choice for viewing HD live streaming video as well, a feature that most mobile bookmakers now offer (for free to real money punters). The speed, combined with the large screen and 16:9 display ratio gives us the best live streaming experience available on any smartphone on the market today. Like to watch football or horse racing while you place in-play wagers? This is the device for you.
The Samsung Galaxy Note II is 5.94 (H) x 3.16 (W) x .37 (D) inches, and weighs 6.42 ounces, making it very large in the smartphone category. Most owners say it seems too big for the first few days, then once they get used to it, they wouldn’t own anything smaller. We agree with this. When we first started to test the Galaxy Note II (after using iPhone’s for a long time), we felt the same way. After downloading and using a few betting apps, we were completely sold. Going from this large screen to a smaller one feels like a downgrade, especially considering that we still have the convenience of tossing it in our pockets when we’re done using it.
At the time this article is being written, the Galaxy Note II review section on the Verizon Wireless website is a virtual landslide. Roughly 800 reviewers give it 4.8 out of 5 stars – a phenomenally high score. If these were movie reviews, this movie would break all the box office records.
Bottom Line: The Galaxy Note II is a kick-ass phone with all of the latest/greatest features. The huge screen size and powerful processing makes it clearly one of the best smartphones for our purposes, and possibly #1.
Samsung Galaxy Tab (Tablets)
Offered in a variety of sizes to meet anyone’s needs, the Galaxy Tab line of tablets are growing in popularity. Cheaper than an Apple iPad, with many of the same features, this isn’t hard to explain.
For sports betting purposes, almost any tablet is a good choice. The only thing is, most tablet owners treat their devices like a desktop computer, downloading everything under the sun. The Galaxy Tab is plenty powerful for most punters, but for those who compare odds at a lot of bookmakers (using several different apps), we recommend limiting the other things you might otherwise download. For example, if you download a lot of movies, it’s a good idea to move them to another storage device when you’re done watching them. This will keep your tablet and betting apps running fast.
Other than that, there isn’t a whole lot to say. Bigger screen sizes = better graphics, so it really just comes down to the size you prefer. In comparison to other tablets on the market, the Samsung Galaxy Tab is a very good choice, especially when compared to the savings versus an iPad.
Bottom Line: These days, almost any tablet with enough speed & memory are plenty adequate for sports betting. In the Samsung line of tablets, the Tab is the best. However, if you aren’t partial to Samsung products, you’ll probably be happy with a number of tablets currently being sold. Pick almost anything with enough juice and you’ll be just fine.
Samsung Galaxy S III
The newest Samsung Galaxy S III is another great choice for mobile sports betting. Smaller than the Note II, but still plenty big enough, some punters will prefer the extra ‘pocketability’ of the S III.
The overall dimensions are 5.4 (H) x 2.8 (W) x .3 (D) inches, and weighs 4.7 ounces. In comparison, the Apple iPhone 5 is 4.87 (H) x 2.31 (W) x .30 (D) inches, and weighs 3.95 ounces. So, the S III is about a half-inch taller and wider, without weighing too much more. Of course every wireless company has their own rates and special deals, but in general terms, the Galaxy S III is coming in around £50 less than the iPhone 5.
Since this review is based on sports betting purposes, of course we prefer the larger screen size of the Galaxy S III over the iPhone. However, with a relatively small price difference between the two phones, other phone capabilities and customer preferences should be taken into account as well.
Bottom Line: For sports betting, the Samsung Galaxy SIII is a very good choice. At roughly £100 less than the Note II, the savings will be worth it to many of our readers.
Samsung Galaxy Nexus
The Galaxy Nexus is slightly smaller in height and width (5.33 x 2.67 inches), but a bit thicker (.37 inches) than the S III. It also weighs .4 ounces more. The Nexus isn’t as popular as the other two phones, but still a very acceptable choice for sports betting.
Galaxy Betting Ethiopia
The main benefit of the Nexus is the cost savings. If you don’t need all of the latest & greatest features, the Nexus can usually be found for £100-250 less than the iPhone. If you don’t need all of the latest & greatest features, but just want a good smartphone at a reasonable price, the Nexus is a solid choice
Other Samsung Smartphones & Tablets
Of course there are a ton of different Samsung phones and tablets being used all over the world, and of course some are better than others. For downloading Android betting apps, it comes down to processing power, memory, screen size, and the internet connection.
Almost any smartphone will work, but those who bet a lot will want more powerful, top of the line devices. Although betting apps continue to get better in graphics & navigation, they’ll also continue to offer more features (like live streaming and live betting), which use more juice. So, it’s a good idea to keep ahead of the game by having a powerful device.
Some other Samsung devices that are commonly used for sports betting include the Stratosphere II, ATIV Odyssey, Stellar, Galaxy S2, Epic 4G Touch, Galaxy Note, Droid Charge, Infuse 4G, Rugby Pro, Rugby Smart, Galaxy S, Galaxy S3 Mini, Captivate Glide, Exhibit 4G, Conquer 4G, Focus Flash, Galaxy Player 5.0, 4.2 & 3.6, and others.
